Part 2 - Values Exploration Workshop

  • Rooms for Courage 14 Junction Street Tākaka, Tasman, 7110 New Zealand (map)

What makes you feel proud? What do you feel strongly about? What kind of person do you want to be? What’s important to you?

Values are about how you want to behave or act, and how you want to treat yourself, others and the world around you. They are not about what you want to get or achieve and they are not goals. They can be like a roadmap, give our lives meaning, and give us something to move towards.

When the things we do and way we behave match our values we might feel more content. Having a misalignment between values and actions can create discontent.

Would you like to have more meaning, purpose and direction in your life in 2023? Instead of setting new years resolutions, come and reflect, explore your values and set meaningful and achievable action steps to live more in line with those values and envision what the year ahead looks like for you.

This 2-part workshop is for anyone who is feeling a bit aimless, discontent or directionless and wants to explore and connect with what really matters to them, what drives them and how they can create a more value-driven life.

Session 2: Values in different life areas, what gets in the way of living in line with our values, values vision boarding for the year ahead.

The workshop is presented in a small group setting of up to 6 people and facilitated by Rebecca, an Occupational Therapist. You can share as much or as little as you like in the group.

Handouts and activity materials provided. Bring a notebook if you would like and any favourite pens. Bring along photos or pictures for your vision board.

Different seating options available (floor, coffee table, desk, bolster, comfy chair, office chair) and bring any fidgets or other supports for yourself. Tea and coffee available, snacks provided but bring anything specific you would like.

Cost: $50-80 for both sessions.

Spaces are limited so get in touch to book.

Image description: A flyer for the workshops. An image of a set of cogs is in one corner and a hand holding a seedling in another. 4 cartoons depict a hot air balloon, a series of ladders, a person sitting with 2 other people and a person reading a book.
